“The camera I always have hanging around my neck is like another pair of eyes, and has essentially become a part of my body. Having the camera doesn't affect how I engage with other people of the same generation. I am a part of the things that take place in each moment I capture. For me, pointing the lens at something is the same as taking screenshots of my own personal life. Every drop of rain, every smile, every quick motion, and every droplet when water is sprayed. The things I capture are nothing more than ordinary, yet they are all an important part of moments in the dazzling youthful lives of people, including myself. I continue to take photos to preserve the memories of those precious days which I have experienced.”

I have completed my graduation from East West University in Economics. Earlier my school was BAF Shaheen college, Kurmitola. And my college was Adamjee Cantonment College.

I have taken part in many national and international competitions. Till now I have won 150+ international awards so far. Such as:

  • Winner of Doha youth innovation award 2019, Qatar.
  • Young Category winner of World Water Day contest 2020, Italy.
  • Grand Prize of 2nd Whalebone magazine competition, USA, 2021.
  • Winner of “world in 2020” by FIAP, Luxemburg
  • Winner of Kioxia award in Dubai 2022 Many National and International newspapers, online portals and magazines have published his works. Such As: The Telegraph, The Gurdian, Whalebone USA, Spanish GEO. etc

When I see any of my captured photo in online magazine, published magazine or newspaper – I sometimes stand still and grab myself full of attention and feeling weird about thinking this was captured by me? Most of my pictures are caption less, I feel blank while finding out a caption for my photo. How can I give a caption someone’s life through my picture? For photography I got ditched from my friends, classmate and even my family. When my class ends, I packed up my materials into my bag and go outside for taking pictures. And at the same time my friends do hangout in a restaurant or varsity campus. I missed those moments every time. And still, I am missing those beautiful moments. But I have some other friends like cat, fish, books and plants. I discovered that fishes eat eggs of the mosquito. It made me realize that every single living being has a purpose and they are useful. Among all kinds of flowers, I like cactus most. You know what even a cactus can grow flower. Photography to me it's about reacting to what you see, hopefully without preconception. It's simply of matters of noticing something. You just have to care about what is around and should have concerned with humanity and human comedy.

Behind the scene

I remember the day when I picked up my camera back in 2014, I was so elated. My camera became my companion, it shifted my mind from a fictional world to reality. Days after days, I used to carry my camera as a companion to capture the momentums of life from different places or situations. Gradually, I started to realize my passion of being a storyteller through pictures. Sometimes ambiguity of identity leaves me puzzled. I question myself am I a photographer or an artist? When I push the shutter to click a photo at that moment, I feel like I am a photographer. Like an artist I use photography as a medium to express my artistic vision through camera and lenses.
